  16/NOV/2023 Israeli propaganda is deemed necessary by its patrons or allies to justify its massacre of the Palestinian people. The state of Israel scored a major victory in its war against the people of Gaza when it captured ‘al-Shifa’ hospital on Wednesday (November 16). Israeli soldiers, the IDF, were seen foisting their flag on the top of the hospital. Their claim was that this hospital was a cover for the military operation of Hamas. In fact, it was much more sinister than that. It was the base from which Hamas was conducting its military action. This claim made al-Shifa a ‘legitimate’ target for Israeli forces. Just a day before the Israeli forces tightened their siege on the hospital, the Pentagon felt it necessary to justify this by claiming that it had credible intelligence inputs that al-Shifa was being used by Hamas. 21/Nov/2023 The people of the world understand well the evil intent of Israel to eliminate Palestinians and have risen against it. We can expect a ceasefire in Gaza in the next ‘several days’. In an interview with Karan Thapar on  The Wire , Dr. Musa Abu Marzouq, the head of international relations of Hamas, speaking from Doha, disclosed that there could be a ceasefire for 5 days accompanied with an an exchange of hostages between Hamas and Israel. It was followed by a report in  Washington Post  that Israel is considering stopping its assault on Gaza for 5 days. As part of the deal, Hamas will probably release 50 Israelis who were taken hostage by its fighters in their attack October 7 attack and it is possible that Israel may release some Palestinians in its prisons. वक़्त  बेवक़्त    20 Nov, 2023 वाशिंगटन पोस्ट’ की खबर के मुताबिक़ इज़राइल फ़िलिस्तीन के ख़िलाफ़ अपने हमले को 5 रोज़ के लिए रोकने पर विचार कर रहा है। इसके बदले ‘हमास’ शायद 50 इज़राइलियों को रिहा करेगा जिन्हें उसके लड़ाकों ने 7 अक्तूबर को इज़राइल पर अपने हमले में बंधक बनाया था। इस खबर के पहले ‘वायर’ पर करण थापर को इंटरव्यू में दोहा से ‘हमास’ अंतरराष्ट्रीय मामलों के प्रमुख डॉक्टर मूसा अबूमरज़ूक़ ने भी यह कहा था कि 5 दिनों का  युद्ध विराम हो सकता है जिस वक़्त वह इज़राइल बंधकों में कुछ को रिहा करेगा और इज़राइल भी अपनी जेलों में बंद फ़िलिस्तीनियों में  कुछ को रिहा करेगा।  ‘वाशिंगटन पोस्ट’ की खबर से मालूम नहीं होता कि इन बंधकों के बदले इज़राइल अपनी जेलों में सालों से बन्द किए गए फिलिस्तीनियों में से कुछ को रिहा करने को राज़ी है या नहीं जिनमें 147 बच्चे भी हैं। ‘हमास’ की शर्त दोनों देशों के बंधकों की अदला-बदली की थी। यह भी दिलचस्प विडंबना है कि इज़राइल की जेलों में बंद फ़िलिस्तीनियों को गिरफ़्तार बतलाकर एक तरह से कानूनी माना जाता है लेकिन ‘हमास’ की गिरफ़्त में जो इज़...

वक़्त  बेवक़्त    13 Nov, 2023 “कुछ ज़्यादा ही फ़िलिस्तीनी मारे जा चुके हैं।” अमेरिका के विदेश मंत्री एंथनी ब्लिंकेन ने ग़ाज़ा पर कोई एक महीने की इज़राइली बमबारी के बाद अपनी चिंता जाहिर की। दुनिया के सामने उन्होंने अपना चेहरे का मानवीय हिस्सा तब घुमाया जब इज़राइली हमले में मारे गए फ़िलिस्तीनियों की तादाद 11000 पार कर गई थी। इनमें तक़रीबन आधे बच्चे थे।  ब्लिंकेन  के मुताबिक़ शायद यह कुछ ज़्यादा हो गया। तो उनके लिए मारे जाने वाले फ़िलिस्तीनियों की एक स्वीकार्य संख्या भी रही होगी जहाँ आकर इज़राइल को रुक जाना था। लेकिन इज़राइल के लिए ऐसी कोई हद नहीं है। उसे ब्लिंकेन की इस चिंता की भी कोई फ़िक्र नहीं है। वह ऐसा बिगड़ा बच्चा है जिसे मालूम है कि उसका सरपरस्त अमेरिका उसकी हर ज़िद मानने को बाध्य है।  जब ये पंक्तियाँ लिखी जा रही हैं, इज़राइल की फ़ौज ग़ज़ा के अस्पतालों को घेरकर उन पर गोले दाग रही है। ग़ज़ा के 35 में 18 अस्पतालों ने काम करना बंद कर दिया है। जो हो रहा है, उसकी क्रूरता को बयान करने में शब्द की हर शक्ति असहाय है क्योंकि भाषा भी एक हद तक ही क्रूरता बर्दाश्त ...
